Bait Intel

The Herring have arrived and are starting to fill out most runs in Massachusetts.  The Cape, south coast are heavy and the north shore is not far behind.

Inshore Intel

Herring and Mackeral are in the inshore waters of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  Large school of Right whales are close to shore off Marshfield , Farnham Buoy chasing bait.  Navigate carefully in these areas as the whales are protected and are very slow moving surface feeders.

Offshore Intel

The Haddock fleet has been able to fish with the weather this past Sunday and Monday.

42.30, -70.35 The best bite for keeper sized haddock is on the Northwest corner of Stellwagen bank.

42.27, -70.33 Western edge of middlebank by the old BE buoy is also producing a nice albiet slower pick of Haddock.

The Southwest corner is slow with very little signs of life, which is a surpricse considering the action this time last year.
