Bait Intel

The Mackeral have shown up in Cape cod bay over the past few days.  The inshore ledges are loaded with a mix of herring and mackeral.

Inshore Intel

Small school sized striped bass have arrived in the canal.  The large fish should follow as last year May 5th saw a large push or keeper sized bass in the bay.

The squid fishery light up down the cape over the weekend.  This fishery is fast so target them now if you want in on the action.  Current action is hot in buzzards bay, and typicaly south side haunts in nantucket sound off hyanis.

Tog reports are slow in buzzards bay probably a week or two away from that fishery breaking open.

Offshore Intel

The Haddock fishing continues to be steady with easy limits on the northwest corner and middlebank.  SW Corner is starting to improve.  Tons of life on the bank with whales and dophin chasing down bait.  No signs of Tuna at this time.
