Bait Intel

Mackeral continue to be hard to find.  Larger mack were caught inshore in less then 25 feet over the past few days after the east breeze last week.

Pogies have show up in large numbers from Manomet up to the north river.  Large schools both on the surface and subsurface the entire stretch out to 3 nms.  Bass can be found on certain schools underneath.

Inshore Intel

Large bass are being taken off the south shore inshore ledges as the fish take up their summer haunts in deepr water.  Mouth of the north river is still giving up keepers to live bait.  The bays Dux/Ply as well as inside the north river are giving up consistent schoolie action on artificials.  Smaller fish are being caught from barnstable north to billingsgate shoals. The race down to peaked hill is giving up the occasional commercial keeper but you will have to content with the madness of commerical fleets.  Its been a slow start to the season with most fish under the 34" mark.  The ditch fished well this week with fish up to 35lbs weighed it with most of the damage done on live macks.

Fluke fishing on Lucas shoal to quicks is stil your best as fluke fishing continues to pick up in the area.

Flounder fishing is on the move as the fish move to the deeper water outside of the harbors.  On the Boston outer ledges med/large size fish are caught on the outer islands in 50 ft of water.  Green Harbor and Scituate are fishing well just outside of the harbor on incoming tides.

Offshore Intel

Tuna have officialy arrived with a number of commerical fish landed this week on the southeast corner of stellwagen to a few miles east.  Multiple reports of surface feeds in the area

Haddock is and figures to continue well into the summer on the east side of the bank.  Fish are in 250-300+ feet of water.

Well offshore Veatch Canyon is lit up with Yellowfin and Bigeyes right now with multple boats having worthy trips.
