Bait Intel

On the south shore mackeral are everywhere on the ledges but best found early morning.

Inshore Intel

Striper intel this week can best be described as hit or miss from teh canal out to barnstables up to the race.  Fish are being real finicky outside of early morning top water bites, and live mackeral.  Fish to 25lbs are being taking those working hard. The north river is fishing well with artificials and live bait.

Black sea bass fishing in Buzzards Bay, particularly around Cleveland Ledge has very good this week.

Scituate Harbor and Little Cohasset Harbor has been on fire for flounder.

Offshore Intel

Haddock bite is still going strong but the warming water temps have the fish on the march east with most of the action in the past week taking place on the SE Corner and middlebank.   The Yankee Fleet picked up a 40lb Halibut this week on the NW Corner.

Alot of repots of medium size tuna being seen on Jefferies but fast moving and hard to cast to.  There is unsubstantiated talk of a few 60inch fish taken at fippinies.
